Heylo,
we really can't be snoogums to write out a list of country songs for the contestants this week for as Bumpkins, we really can' stand the shit. We mean there's a few good songs but when you've grown up with a totally unhealthy dose of Slim Dusty and Lee Kernaghan all your life then you get turned off it once you've got enough money to buy your first cd (Ours was The Tin Lids: 'Snakes And Ladders', good stuff at 7). Nowadays our tastes lie in pretty much everything except rap, country and emo. We even dabble in the Ludwid Van and such. But of course we can't forget the Idol!
So here's a couple of songs that we wouldn't mind hearing sung...
Travelling Soldier by The Dixie Chicks... Gorgeous story, bittersweet melody and sombre lyric... or summat...
Um, ok so that's about the only country song we know or like... any one who brings out the Billy Ray will be shot.

And before we post this, OMG the finale song from Hairspray, 'You can't stop the beat' made it only some stupid Party Starters album, hahahahahahahahahahhhhahahahahahahahahaahhhhahaahaha
