Recipe Number One

Heylo people, we've decided that once a while, just like our sudokus and album/movie reviews, we're goign to post a new recipe for you to cook and enjoy for yourself! We'll also post little anecdotes about where we learned the recipe!

!FRENCH TOAST!
Ingredients;
2 eggs,
1/4-1/2 of milk depending
bread
butter

Utensils;
Bowl
egg whisk or fork
frying pan
spatula

Firstly you crack open your two eggs into your bowl. A handly little tip and something William always does is first you rub the egg between your two hands, be careful though you don't want to drop or crakc it too early, then you roll it back and forth under one hand for a tick before crack the egg in a clockwise motion around the edge of the bowl. This loosens the shell a tad and if done right is guaranteed to give you a perfect cracking every time!
Once your two eggs are in the bowl, mix the eggs in and whisk till it is a frothy egg nog type liquid with bubbles on top.
Grab your bread (presliced works best) and drown each slice of bread one at a time into your mixture then place on the frying pan which by now you would had placed a teaspoon or more of butter on and is on medium high.
Each time you place your bread on the frying pan tilt the pan a tad to let the melted butter get around the pan, and never mind the stringy bits extending from the bread, they are the best bits.
Fry each side till it's golden brown then serve hot with salt.
Also works with a variety of things such as syrus or castor sugar... salt works best tho. Orange juice served on the side makes this a perfect breakky treat and hangover cure! The more eggs and milk the more people it serves!

William first found this recipe when we was 7 years old and was home with Dad, but Dad was on the porch and William was watching Play School inside. They made it on the telly and William, immediately inspired, decided to go to the kitchen to prepare the meal. (Mind you he was cooking maggi 2 minute noodles by 5 and whilst Elisha would grill some crumpets, young farmers are early starters) But anyways that recipe stuck with him and we thanks PLAY SCHOOL for the best hangover cure ever!
And then one night 10 years later we were at some house party in Frankston, Melbourne of this friend of our cousins, and there was a band playing, and for some reason we were talking to the mum and we got onto french toast and she allowed us to make some! But because we cooked AND cleaned up perfectly the mum stood there and told everyone to bugger off so noone would steal our French Toast!
That was an awesome party but an even awesomer occasion to have our cousins friends' mum tell us we can cook french toast while drunk, thank you darl for an AWESOME night!!!!

Love, US.
