ANZAC BISCUITS!!!
INGREDIENTS...
2 cups Plain Flour
225 grams butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
4 tablespoons golden syrup (cane syrup)
1 cup desiccated coconut
2 cups rolled oats
PREPARATION...
- Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl, and melt the syrup and butter in a saucepan. If necessary add a little water to the mix.
- Mix the wet and dry ingredients and roll into small balls and flatten on oven trays
- Bake at 150°C (300°F) for about 15 minutes.
This is a bloody delish treat and not ONLY for the 25th of April.
